Intermediate School Principal Search for 2025-26
Dear Center Point-Urbana CSD Staff, Parents/Guardians, and Community Members:
Our current Intermediate School Principal, Mr. Jon Hasleiet, will be retiring at the conclusion of this academic year. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for his 17 years of passionate and dedicated leadership at CPU. His contributions have left a lasting impact on our school community, and we wish him the very best in his well-deserved retirement.
As we begin the search for Mr. Hasleiet’s successor, the district invites input from all stakeholders—including faculty, parents/guardians, and community members—on the qualities and attributes most important in the next leader of our Intermediate School. We also are seeking parent volunteers for the Interview Committee.
Our goal is to hire the most qualified candidate who aligns with the mission of the Center Point-Urbana Community School District: “To develop successful, lifelong learners by fostering a safe and caring environment, delivering a stimulating curriculum, and building on the dedication of our staff, the support of our parents, and the warmth of our small-town community.”
This valuable feedback will help shape a thoughtful and comprehensive interview process, guiding us in selecting the next educational leader for our Intermediate School. Together, we look forward to building on the strong foundation established by Mr. Hasleiet and continuing our commitment to student success.
