Dan DeVore will serve as the next secondary principal for the Center Point-Urbana Community School District, pending formal approval by the School Board.

DeVore was selected following a multistage interview process that included input from committees of teachers, support staff, administrators, students and parents. Committee members identified DeVore as a student-focused leader whose calm demeanor and instructional knowledge align with the district’s culture and goals.
