Program Description

The Pointer Pup Preschool offers 3 and 4-year-old preschool.  The preschool program serves a diverse population in an age-appropriate program taught by certified teachers.

Mission Statement

Pointer Pup Preschool is coordinated through Center Point-Urbana Community Schools and provides a caring and safe environment in which all children can develop socially, emotionally, and academically.  Children learn and practice the social skills necessary for future success in school.  Our preschool also encourages children to become aware of and identify positive character traits such as patience, caring, respect, self-confidence, and problem-solving.

Philosophy

At CPU Primary, we will work and learn collaboratively to provide our students and their families with a  safe, caring, and positive learning environment. We will set high expectations for ourselves and our students, providing them with a rich and inclusive learning experience. We will set each student on the path to being a successful, lifelong learner.
