Enrollment Information

Age Requirements:

  • 3-year-old: Must be 3 by September 15th
  • 4-year-old: Must be 4 by September 15th

Documents Needed:

  • Immunization Certificate (before school starts)
  • Physical Exam (within the last 12 months)

Funding and Fees

3-Year-Old Program

  • $100/month for 9 months of school.
  • Per the preschool student handbook:
    • “Students must pay their preschool fees by the end of each month to continue attending the following month. Fees are due on the first day of the month, with a 5-day grace period for late payments. Parents or guardians will be notified of any delinquent accounts on the 6th day of the month. If financial difficulties arise, parents or guardians should promptly contact the preschool administration to discuss possible arrangements. Students can resume attendance once all outstanding fees are paid in full, and proof of payment is provided“

4-Year-Old Program

  • Tuition-free under the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program (SWVPP)

Times and Locations

3-Year-Old Program

  • Sites in both Center Point and Urbana
  • Morning sections only for both locations
  • 8:20-11:20 Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday

4-Year-Old Program

  • Sites in both Center Point and Urbana
  • Morning or afternoon sections are offered in Center Point
  • Afternoon sections offered in Urbana
  • 8:20-11:20 and 12:20-3:20 Monday-Thursday

Transportation

A shuttle is available for daycare providers with 2 or more preschool students

Fees:

  • 3-Year-Olds: $14/month
  • 4-Year-Olds: $28/month

The Statewide Volunteer Preschool Program does not cover transportation fees.

Parent Teacher Communication

  • Folders: Used for schedules, curriculum info, and notes.
  • Parent-Teacher Conferences: Held in October & March.
  • 4-Year-Old Home Visits: Scheduled in July/August before school starts.
