Academic Calendar
Calendars CPU’s academic calendar is annually established and approved by the school board. Development of the calendar is conducted by the board and the administrative team, along with input from members of the public through public hearings on the calendar. Silver Cord of Excellence
The purpose of the Center Point-Urbana Silver Cord Program is to instill within students the importance of community service, and encourage students to be accountable for investing in their own education and in their community on a regular basis during their school years. This program is designed to recognize students who have a heart for service in their community.
Weather Closings & Delays
During the winter season, be mindful that delays and cancellations are probable. As early as possible, weather and road condition information is gathered from various sources, including city, county, state agencies, meteorologists, and personal inspection by school personnel including the Transportation Director. The safety of our students and employees is the overriding, deciding factor when cancelling or delaying school.
